Senior Accountant – CDD 3-6 months

Missions:

• Mastery of P&L accounts and balance sheets, of accrued and deferred charges/revenues, of provisions and depreciation.
• Good understanding of payroll charges and personnel travel expense reports.
• Support for accounting and monitoring supplier payments.
• Account analysis and justification.
• Monitoring budgets and client invoicing.
• Participation in various internal controls of the department.
• Preparation and analysis of financial and management reports.
• Budget tracking and variance analysis.
• Review and optimization of existing processes.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Optimization of accounting software.

Profile:

• Graduate with a Master’s degree (Bac +5) in management sciences, accounting, or finance.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles applicable to Luxembourg companies.
• Good understanding of Luxembourg corporate taxation and VAT.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Autonomous and mindful of deadlines.
• Team player with flexibility.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Workday software is considered a plus.
• Proficient in French and English.
