Key responsibilities

Financial leadership & reporting

  • Act as the primary back-up to he Head of Finance and step in when required;
  • Own the monthly accounting close process, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and timeless of consolidated reporting to group level;
  • Prepare and deliver complete year-end financial statements, in compliance with local and IFRS standards (IFRS 16);
  • Lead the preparation and review of management reporting, including KPI dashboards and variance analysis;
  • Ensure compliance with VAT Filings, Tax returns and manage preparation of audit documentation for external auditors.

Controlling & analysis

  • Drive the budgeting process, coordinate planning inputs, and perform variance analyses with key stakeholders;
  • Review financial performance, explain key trends, and provide insight to support strategic decisions.

Process & systems optimisation

  • Lead the review and optimization of accounting and finance processes (e.g., closing, invoicing, bank, budget tracking);
  • Support the digitalization of finance, including tool implementation (e.g., ERP, Manual journal entries automations);
  • Contribute to the strengthening internal controls and compliance procedures.

Team coordination & cross-functional support

  • Collaborate closely with accounting, tax, business and operations teams;
  • Supervise junior team members when applicable and support professional development.

 

Profile

  • Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational or fast-paced environment;
  • Solid Knowledge of Luxembourg GAP, Luxembourg corporate taxation, and VAT Rules;
  • Proficiency in IFRS and experience with Management reporting processes;
  • High attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Autonomous, results-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure;
  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and flexibility;
  • Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); familiarity with WorkDay, Alterix is a plus;
  • Fluent in French; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
